摘要 :

Membrane separation technology is a pivotal innovation in the field of chemical engineering, offering efficient and sustainable solutions for a variety of separation processes. This presentation aims to provide an in-depth exploration of the fundamentals of membrane technology, examining the principles of transport mechanisms, membrane structure, membrane materials, membrane preparation, membrane module design that underpin membrane operations. We will delve into the various types of membrane processes, including microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis, and gas separation, highlighting their unique characteristics and operational parameters.

Furthermore, the presentation will showcase a range of applications across industries, including water purification, pharmaceuticals, bioprocessing, and gas separation, energy applications, illustrating how membrane technology can enhance process efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Through case studies and recent advancements in membrane materials and fabrication techniques, we will underscore the ongoing research and future prospects of this dynamic field.
